Shane+Autumn | engagement

Shane & Autumn are getting married this October! We met up a few weeks ago at Autumn’s Aunts farm for their engagement session. We walked around everyone trying our best to avoid spiders, ants, and snakes. Gotta love the country!;)They ended the session with some Alabama gear. Love that football season is almost here…Roll Tide!!:)

Stuart+Christy | engagement

Stuart+Christy are such a fun couple! I had a blast getting to know them during their session and loved that we ended the session with their Thursday night kickball game. Cannot wait to shoot their wedding THIS weekend!:)

Tiler | bridal

I love, love, love everything about this bride. Let’s just say Tiler is AMAZING! Bo and I drove down to Rockford, AL in March to shoot Tiler’s bridal session and check out the location of her wedding. I cannot explain how excited I was to see everything Tiler had described to me when we first met. Totally did NOT disappoint!! Tiler’s parents purchased this plantation home nestled on an old dairy farm and completely renovated it for the wedding(built in the late 1800′s I think)! The antiques they found in this old homestead were unbeleivable!:) Since the downstairs was still a construction zone, Tiler staged a bedroom in one of the upstair rooms for the session. We started inside and then ventured around the property and finished in the barn! Loved that Tiler was willing to climb (literally) up into the loft of the barn! Stay tuned for the wedding!!!

Matt+Christy+Maddux+baby girl

So I am a little late blogging this since….baby girl was born yesterday!!! Miss Brooklyn arrived yesterday morning. I am SO excited we are headed to San Antonio, TX to see them in just a few short days! Christy is one of my most amazing friends! We first got to know each other when she was pregnant with Maddux. I photographed her maternity pics and Maddux when he was a newborn. About a year later we found out we were going to the same church. We became very close! I love how God brings amazing friendships into my life through photography! I miss them terribly since they are now living in Texas. I was so excited when they came to Alabama in April! It was a little hectic since they arrived the night before all the devastating tornadoes on April 27. We did get to spend a little time together and of course take a few photos. I cannot wait to meet Miss Brooklyn and take their first family of 4 photo!!!:)
